    Rotate objects - some work, some don't

    I am very new to MMF2 and have gone through some of the tutorials.

    In the process of learning, I wanted to make an "Asteroids"-type game. The problem I'm running in to is that some of the sample objects, such as the "small winger craft" will rotate. Others, such as ones I create in the editor myself, will not rotate even when all of the movement properties are identical. I've searched through the help files, and through various forums, and I cannot find the answer for the life of me.

    Can anyone explain why some objects are rotatable, while others are not? Is it a setting somewhere?

    It is impossible to say without seeing your code. If you can post the file people will be able to take a look at it and see what's going on.

    To make the object rotate on themselves, you have to enter an event like :

    *** Always
    +++ Set angle of "Asteroid" to Angle("Asteroid") + 5

    And be sure to put the hot spot of the Asteroid object in the middle so that it rotates nicely. If you do this kind of rotation, you only have to define the animation facing right in the animation editor. Erase all the other directions.
