    No "End Application" functionality?

Is there no functionality for "End Application" command in iOS games? Using "End Application", which works fine with Android and PC, only causes an iPhone to freeze. Is there a different method of closing an iPhone game?

I've never seen a single commercial iPhone app with built-in close functionality (you always have to force-quit them or else they stay in the background forever)...

Won't apple reject any game or app that has an actual close or end feature?
At least that is what I remember.

Apple doesn't allow apps to exit on their own terms. Users have to exit apps using the home button.

It makes sense really; if there's a home button that can exit any app, then there's no point taking up screen space or having the risk of someone accidentally tapping the close button in the app and then the app quitting. It's better to have a single, universal way of quitting apps.

I actually do like that system better, as a user especially, since many games can be difficult to exit out of. I just haven't seen that before.

Yes, the end application is disabled in the iOS exporter, due to Apple recommendations. Same for the HTML5 exporter : ending an application in the middle of a web-page would have no meaning.
