    Talking How to create an attached gun to my main player

    The game my team is working on is a sidescrolling-shooter. We have created our character and a separate gun animation that fits perfectly with our main player. How can we attach it and make it work as a gun. I can give additional detail because I didn't write much, if you need it.

    Just position the gun by:
    Always Set position to Player 1

    Make sure you have correct hotspots and stuff :P

    This is where the action point can come in handy (especially if the hotspot isn't in the same place as where you want the gun to go) - set the player's action point to where you want the gun to go, then set the gun's position relative to the player's action point. The gun's hotspot should be where you want it to attach to the player's action point.

    You'll also want to set the gun's direction to always be the player's direction, otherwise when the player turns around, the gun won't.
