I'll try that. Also I noticed I had a few other files in the same directory that contained the word keystore in them. That may have fouled up the process. I'll let you know how things work out.
Thanks again. - Rich
Hi Back again - is there some way I can insert jpg screen captures into this post?
That way, I could show you my keystore data and the data I put into the Andoid properties tab. That may help.
In the mean time, I'll try starting from scratch.
Thanks for your patience. - Rich
Okay. I pasted a dual image. The top is the Android keystore screen and the bottom part shows the information as added in MMF2 Developer - Android properties tab.
Here is the link... http://snag.gy/FSk6W.jpg
Thanks for your time.
Ah Rich, I think it may have become invalid due to the alias length. Please use something that is 6 chars long, let me know how you get on. I may have to fix the charlength of that box, although the keystore usually still remains valid, it just chops off anything after 6 chars by default.
Just to add, your shot of MMF2 Android properties isn't the same as mine. The filename you've put in is just the filename, whereas mine is the full path. Did you click the 3 dots and locate the actual file? This should put in the full path to your keystore file. I think this is the issue actually what you're having.
Danny - Thanks a bunch. I'll try both things you mentioned, I'll let you know how they work out. - Rich
I actually did 3 things -
1) Put in the path to the keystore file
2) Kept the Alias name to 6 chars
3) Saved the keystore file in the root dir of C:
No error mssgs were obtained.
Now, can I move the keystore file to another directory?
Thanks for all the goodness - Rich
RichC - Great stuff. Once you have compiled your keystore file, you're free to move it to any directory you wish. You can locate it just by clicking the 3 dots button in MMF2 which will bring up a file dialog where you can then locate the keystore file!
Published my first game on android. I'm haven't been using click products for a while but with all this android and ouya .. I think I am back in the game. Hey Danny thanks for the tool bro. it was very helpful.
