    INI object limitations in HTML5

    Hi,
I want to use the INI object to store short blocks of texts entered through the text box object. I'm trying to create a virtual personal journal for my students. My question is am I restricted by the 1024 (I think) character limit of standard ini files? I imagine that this limit does not apply since the HTML5 program will run of different browsers on different systems and therefore would not be subject to a Windows limitation.

Is there a limit in this instance, and if so, how much characters am I allowed to use per ini file?

    Thank you,
    Tom

I dont think there is any limit on the size of each entry, apart on Windows. INI files in exporters are real txt files, handled by us directly. So this should not be a problem.

Thank you very much, Francois. That's what I thought as well. So it doesn't even have to have an ini extension, it could be called whatever I like.

    Thank you.
