    Load INI from web server

I'm currently looking for a way to load an INI file from a web server.

My current method was using the get object. Start of frame GET Object / Load URL - http://www.mywebsite.com/myfile.ini

Then the next condition is, On Get Complete, INI object set current file to get received content of GET OBJECT.

Clickteam Fusion 2.5 then crashes after that.

Is there another way to go about this? I know that it receives the INI file fine because I have a string displaying the data from the get object. I just can't figure out how to actually load that content into the INI object for use.

    Or I read here http://download.clickteam.com/misc/en/html5/HTML5%20Runtime%20Differences.pdf

that you can just upload the INI to the same directory as the html file on my server. But that does not seem to be working properly. Any ideas?

I'm also struggling to get a List object to load files located in the same directory. Has anybody had any luck loading external files of anykind?

I had to remove the code loading data directly from a server, as it was impossible for me to catch a "file not found" error : the browser just stopped and the the application seemed to crash. I still have to investigate on this, on how to catch such error with an WMLHTTPRequest object.

You could use a combination of the Get Object and an Edit Box. Load the data via the Get Object into the Edit Box and then save the file using the Edit Box. Then load the file that you've just saved.

It's a bit messy but it should work in theory.
