Upgrades? Fusion 2.5 std to Developer

Is there an upgrade process for users who are using Fusion standard to Developer?
I'd like to purchase Standard to cut my teeth, but don't want to feel hamstrung if I feel that I will grow to use the features in Developer.

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

yes you can always upgrade via the form at: http://www.clickteam.com/upgrade-request

The price will depend on when you upgrade, for example until the 3rd of February we have a greater discount to coincide with the launch of Fusion 2.5

I think he might be asking..

If he buys Standard now can he upgrade to Developer later?
Yes! and we will credit you the full amount of towards Developer.

So you are not going to lose any money if you start with standard and want to move to developer later.
Plus any export modules you purchase for standard can be used with developer -- You don't need to rebuy them.
I like to think Clickteam is being pretty fair on all this

    W00t!!! Thanks guys.

No difference between buying direct vs steam?

Or if I want to do an upgrade is it smoother if I buy it direct?

One thing to consider is if you buy the main program on Steam you need to buy all the export modules you want on Steam.
And same if you buy it here at Clickteam direct.

Faster/easier upgrades -- We hope both channels are about the same speed when it comes to processing upgrades.
Developer isn't yet out on Steam so I don't know the process on how to upgrade on there yet.

Upgrades? Fusion 2.5 std to Developer

The modules were all on sale with steam! #dies.

Also as steam is USD it's a little cheaper...

Do the steam sales get reflected on the direct website?

Postgrad student. So every cent counts... Again

One other question. Steam keeps all it's components up to date at all times- is this another advantage of purchasing through steam? Or does fusion auto update?

I'm not sure what the default setting is; however, my own version of Fusion, purchased through Clickteam, is set to check for updates daily.
