Need working ForEach object for 2.5

Okay so I've been using an old ForEach.mfx copied from my MMF2 folder. But now I'm trying to test a build of my game and it's giving me this error:

Warning: the following extensions are not compatible with the build type of the application:

    ForEach.mfx

Do you want to build this application anyway? If so the missing objects will have no effects.

So it's not letting me use it. I tried to install the ForEach object through the extension manager in 2.5 but it doesn't even show up. Is there a working link to a 2.5 compatible version of ForEach?

Before you tell me to use built in ForEach:

    1. I built the game in MMF2, so it used the ForEach object... so I kind of need it to load the file.
    2. Built in ForEach is missing features

Odd -- Maybe Nico needs to look at the For Each and make sure the runtime part is on the server.
I will remember to ask him about it when I see him.

Try this ( if you want)
Copy the foreach.mfx in extensions to Data/Runtime

Then you should be able to build

I recently upgraded from MMF 1.5 to Fusion 2.5. I too need the ForEach object extension as it does not appear in any of the lists in 2.5. The ForEach self-extracting file will only work in MMF 2. Please can you help?

Yeah that's quite an annoying thing. I would post the extension but I think we are not allowed to post links to extensions now or something?

Obviously it will involve a little work to replace it, but are you aware that Fusion has a built in for each function now?

It has to be the 'ForEach' object extension as the application won't run without it.

Until the built-in ForEach has the same features the old ForEach extension has, I won't be using it. I don't see the point in it if there is something already better out there. I see the reasoning behind adding it directly into Fusion, but I feel like the other features from the extension are being ignored because every time someone brings them up, they are quickly dismissed. Kind of disappointing on that end.

The main feature the internal ForEach is lacking is that you cannot properly do nested ForEach loops, since the internal ForEach only keeps track of the object directly being looped through. For example, if I wanted to loop through one set of objects and then run a foreach inside that loop for another set of objects, so that I'm pulling object information from the parent ForEach object, it can't do that.

I agree, the built in foreach is not as good.

Though i had no issues with foreach extension in 2.5... or any of them, I did directly copy all my extensions from mmf2 to 2.5.

Also i can see the foreach in the manager.

!!! You cant loop with the built-in for each? I see absolutely no reason why. The list of objects is pushed on a stack before calling the loop. Yes, the very object involved in the loop is selected, and only it for this type of object, but you can select other type of objects with proper conditions in the loop...
Can I ask you to make an example showing what you want in For Each Object, and how it does not work in internal For Each, and send it to me?
    Thanks

Before Fusion 2.5 I had MMF 1.5 so I cannot copy the files over. I do not see 'ForEach' in the extensions manager even after refreshing, whether I do a search or look through them all individually but it seems some can - why?
