iOS: Controlling character with position of Touch?

I want to make a character follow where the player's thumb is touching. Is there a guide for this?

Hi Canniengui.
There are lots of example files around for the regular PC runtime that shows you how to make a character follow the mouse position.
On iOS the basics are the same. In the iOS runtime we "fake" the position of the mouse to where the user touches the screen. This way you can reuse the same example files

Do you want to player go to touch position when it touch on screen? like a strategy game?

Do you want the object to jump to where the players finger is and follow underneath the players finger, or follow the player's finger 'relative' to where the object started?
