Right Side of Frame merge left

Is it possible to have it so the right and left side of a frame merge. I can make it so that if an object leave the right side it re positions the X position of the object to the left side which works, but is complicated and i just want to make sure there isnt a better option. Basically allowing the player to continuously choose to move to the right or left and never notice that are re positioning on the opposite side of the screen. What i need is something much like the popular app "Super Mega Worm" does anyone have any suggestions?

I can't think of anything else but to reposition the objects X position when it reaches the end of one side of the frame.

There are a few ways to do this. Depending on how many objects you have, the easiest might be to make sure that the left 640px (assuming 640x480 for example purposes) and the right 640px are identical. With backdrops this is easy and you can just build it in the frame editor, but with moving actives you might need to set detectors to move them when they become off screen. In any case, when the player scrolls all the way to the right you just move it back to the beginning and since the level geometry is identical the player won't notice the move at all, but they'll be able to keep moving right since they just wrapped around.

Jacob, you're talking about unlimited scrolling? That can be done super easily with "Wrap Horizontally" in the layer properties, works great with backdrops but it may require repositioning active objects.

Don't forget to change the virtual width and height as required. A value of-1 means unlimited.

Thanks DistantJ this was exactly what i was talking about. But yeah you are right about still having to re-position active objects, i should be able to come up with a solution though.
