INI file - Where is it?

    Hi all,

I use the expression Appdir$ + "nerede.ini" for creating my INI file.

"Create INI file in application directory file" in the properties is checked.

I can't seem to find this file created in the application folder. I wanted to change it manually.

Anybody have an idea where this file might be? Or is it created at all?

If you check that item in properties the .ini is created in Users Application Data Folder NOT Your Application directory.

    In my case: Windows 8

    C:\Users\<yourusername>\AppData\Roaming\MMFApplica tions

Check again your properties Windows and read it carefully

Yes sorry it was "Data" folder.

I use Windows 8.1, but I don't have this folder named AppData/Roaming/MMF.. etc

I will try to uncheck the box for all frames.

I don't know exactly what you want to achieve.

If you uncheck you have to specify a path. Your ini can be created without using this expression : Appdir$ + "nerede.ini and without using a file object.

Use AppDrive$+AppDir$+"MyFile.ini" and it will appear in the folder of the software, as long as your not installing into the Program Files folder because that's protected.
