    Setting the pitch of samples

    Hi there
Does anybody know a way to tune the sample rate of a WAV to create a scale. EG: If I have a WAV of a synth playing C, by how much do i incrememt the sample rate to go up 1 semitone?

Ok the best way for you is using OpenMpt Tracker...
Load your initial sample with Openmpt... eg your sample1.wav was sampled in 44100 HZ and the note is: C3.
To find the next note use OPEN MPT like this:

    good luck

    Hi Sloxone
I'm seem to be having problems importing the samples. My samples are C2 but the software is reading them at g#2. Is it possible there is some info in the file that's causing this? In Soundforge the only info I can see is 'Unity note: c5'
