    Question Loading an object from array when needed (loading an array in chunks)

    So I created this grid engine when you press L the whole map gets loaded 200 by 200 32 pixel tiles what is way to much so the game crashes.
    Even when I set the limit to 50*50 it loads but is super laggy but when I do the amount of tiles you can see in the frame it works fine.
    Just 1 problem when you scroll down or to the right that piece of the frame isn't loaded.
    So I tried making a chunk loader when you scroll to the right it loads the string from the array and place the tiles.
    But it didn't work how can I do this? Take a look at the source file.
    Also includes a save file this save file is 200 by 200 pieces of grass.

    That is 40,000 active objects in one frame. You are only allowed 20,000 per frame. After loading the grass tiles try pasting to background, not as obstacle.

    Hello i tried using backdrops before on start it creates a object and moves it to the location adds a backdrop and deletes itself.
    But i forget about 20.000 object limit now i made 1 object that gets teleported around to make backdrops.
    No lagg at all and what is the difference between an object and a backdrop (not as and obstacle)?
    But now i have a weird bug at like the half of the frame the tiles don't get placed for some reason.
    The data is there, normaly i can't place grass on grass and when i try to place grass in the white area i doesn't let me.
    But when i want to place stone it lets me do it i tried extending the Yloop but with no result here is the edited mfa file.
    I hope you can see what is the problem with that and thanks for the help!

    Messed around with the events a bit but still haven't found a fix

    Also when i try to place stone on the white area it works fine but when i place 1 stone tile on the visible grass everthing in the white area gets deleted.

    So i did some research and found out that there is a backdrop limit when the object get above the object limit the whole screen just gets white but when backdrops reached it limit it just stops creating backdrops.
