    Hi guys its me again.

ok, i┤m not any further, so i show you what i did:

this is my game in short:
    7.jpg
    7.jpg
    8.jpg
    9.jpg
    10.jpg

now my sound settings so far:
    2.jpg
    1.jpg
    4.jpg
    3.jpg
    5.jpg

it works, but with one exception.
when i go back from level 1 to frame 2 (level chooser), the music is off, even if the music is on.
when i go back to the main menu, the music starts again.
with other settings (ini and so on), the music doubles on changing the frames or it doesn┤t save the music setting.

hope u understand my explaining and i hope u have a solution.

    thanx in advance
    Michel

    Screen shot debugging is hard

Event 7 where you loop a sound based on the X value
and added the repeat even only once.

This is going to trigger once every time you enter the frame.
So if the loop is currently looping it will start it again and double loop it and start to suck away performance.

In general for sounds here is what I do:

Store if sounds are on or off in a global value
Then every time I have an event where I want to play a sound I check the global value to see if its on or off
Also every time I want to play and loop a sound (background music) I run a check to make sure its not already looping and the sounds are on

When I exit my app -- before I exit I save the users current sound setting to an INI file so I can load it back in next time the app starts

    @Sparkman:
thank you, but i need a example with some more details

    @jeff:
Store if sounds are on or off in a global value
Then every time I have an event where I want to play a sound I check the global value to see if its on or off
Also every time I want to play and loop a sound (background music) I run a check to make sure its not already looping and the sounds are on

ok, this is what i had in my mind also, but i don┤t know the way of set (where the value and what etc.), is there no step by step example for?

Did you need an example for:
    - Storing the users choice if the sounds were on or off
    - How to determine if you should play a sound based on that setting?

    I made this -- http://www.flyinvinteractive.com/fus...le_Android.mfa

Would this be the android object or is it an object only available in the developer version? Thanks
