    Question How to show a value or fps on screen?

    So i am creating a game but i am having some trouble. And want to make a debugger just 1 problem i didn't found a way to show values.
    I tried "editing/set text" in a edit box and my text was something like this: XNPC_1( "val and str" ) and it gave me this error: "Please enter an alphanumeric expression" then i tried this "val" + XNPC_1( "val and str" ) that gave me this error: Mixed strings and numbers.
    I only found 1 way to show a value that way by using the score object but i only managed to use 1 out of 4 of them so this isn't a good solution.
    Same problem goes for frame rate i want to have frame rate shown in a edit box but this gives me the exact same error.
    So my question how can i show a value on the screen by using something similar like edit box. A extension maybe?.
    Thanks!

    Just for debugging? Add a counter object.

    Always:
    -->Set Counter... FrameRate

    Checked it very handy thanks!
    But i also tried to make a log that tells all kinds of things to the player like "NPC_1 chopped 5 logs"
    That amount "5" need to be read from a value of an object so is there still something else that lets me put values in a edit box with strings? Thanks for telling me about counter i have so many extensions i didn't see that one.

    Thanks! this fixed my problem.
    In my own game i did: "Editing/set text" And changed this: "val" + XNPC_1( "val and str" ) to this "val"+Str$( XNPC_1( "val and str" ) )
