    8bit graphics in HD?

    Hi Folks,

Hopefully this will be an easy questions to answer.

At the moment I am making a low res game with 16 x 16 sprites. The game resolution to 320 x 240. The only problem is text and a few other items look pretty crappy in 320 x 240. I was wondering if there was any way to draw a 16 x 16 sprite, then resize it without the edges/colours becoming blurred, so I would have what appears to be 8bit art, but in HD resolution, or at least higher than 320 x 240?

I have searched the forums and have seen mention of some kind of "anti aliasing on resize" option, but I can't find it anywhere. I don't have the developer version so can't clone the application.

I'm not worried about converting the resolution of the game I'm already working on, but it would be nice to know if this is possible for the future.

    Many thanks

    Jason

FOUND IT! It was under preferences - Frame Editor - Resample images when resizing active and backdrop objects. Sorry!

Thanks for sharing the solution - I didn't actually know about that checkbox
