How can a game keep screen awake?

I would like to know if the android exporter has a way to make it so the screen does not switch off while the game is running and in the foreground, I have tried ticking the wakelock option in the exporter but it has no effect.

yes, use the "Android Object" (extension) "sleep prevention" action in the event editor.

Johnny, you only need to start it once (first frame), it will last globally whilst your app is open then.
