Android New Dialog

I'm considering using MMF 2.5 for prototyping at work; and I've recently gotten my first Android App to work, using the exporter.

I tried using the "Android New Dialog Control" object, but I've been unable to find any documentation on it.

I have tried creating a notification using this object:

I tried the following actions:
-Set notification title to "Title" and count 0.
-Set notification Message: "Hey this is a notification" and ticker "Some other string".
-Send notification

In that order.

Nothing happens.

Note: I have not picked any icons for notifications in the exporter, or using the object. Is this a requirement?

As far as I have gathered, apps do not need special permissions to send/display notifications; but as far as I can see; Mine has the permission as default.

I'd be eager to see any documentation on this.
