Moving player with Android

Just purchased ClickTeam Fusion 2.5 and I am very new to the development with games/apps. I made the tutorial game that you make the first time you open fusion and exported it to Android. My problem is I can't figure out how to move my player by sliding left or right with the touchscreen. I assumed since it was set as mouse movement it would be the same as moving my finger across the screen in the direction I want the player to move.


Also another question, Is it possible to put ads in your app without having the developer upgrade? I figured paying $100 for the android exporter would let me put ads on it but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Any suggestions or answers will be a big help to me, thanks.

here is a quick example to move your character on a mobile


mouse_drag_mobile.mfa

mouse_drag no teleport.mfa

Try this, it's also a very simple solution. Just make the yellow active invisible. Hope it helps

Hi, I was asking for help on this but deleted my message as I figured out the solution.

Here's the solution I came up with. It basically makes an active object mimic your finger movements when you are dragging it on the screen, but you don't need to be touching this object. Also you can change the position of the finger and the character won't "teleport" to this new position.
