Possible to save ctf 2.5 to its previous mmf2?

This is in regards to a previous post i made about a problem that causes my game to crash repeatedly. Is there any way for me to save my previously mmf2 file (that is at 2.5 now) BACK to a MMF2 file? This is becoming really annoying and i can't seem to get around it. The movement is the built in simple ellipse movement. i've tried using another type and it works great but where my other object is embeded and i cant delete it it still wont come out of the simple ellipse and its putting the brakes on my game. Is there a certain file that i don't have downloaded in 2.5 that would fix this? like one of the built in extensions?

No. Once saved in CTF, you cannot open it back in MMF2, but a backup copy is generated when you save from MMF2 to CTF
