    Random Levels

    Hey everyone. I am trying to make a game where the levels are presented in a random order when the player starts the game and when the player retries the game. I would like to know how do I do this without the following happening:

    I dont want the levels to repeat.

    I dont want the game over, home screen or options screens to be part of the levels selected at random.

    Please let me know how I would do this. Thanks a bunch.

    Use a random pool.

    You can either make your own, or use the extension: random pool object

    Thanks Skyhunter. I am making the game for android. Can I use a random pool for that? Also what is a random pool Sorry new to this stuff. Thanks

    Random pool is when you pick something at random you remove it from the list.

    You can use whatever. list object, ini, array or whatever that you can save...

    Initially populate the list with frame numbers

    Then when you need to pick a level choose a random item from the list, and then remove the item from the list, save the list for later.

    He can't use random pool in Android as far as I know.

    it doesn't use any extensions, the "random pool" is the method.
