Simple raw sockets?

Hi, does lacewing or could lacewing support just a simple socket connection?

I dont want to use the protocol currently implimented, just want to create a tcp/ip server that "anything" can connect to and send text/bytes/chars?

The liblacewing library supports this but the Fusion Lacewing Extensions do not yet, and James has asked developers not to do it because he plans to himself. You may want to try the MooSock extension(s).
