Slide/Snap To Touch Scrolling for Mobile

Hey people, I just hacked this together tonight.. I used an old example by (Doverseer?) not sure.. anyway, I built on that and added a kind of manual (using objects, so you can easily customize it/work with multiple aspect ratios) snap-to location scrolling.

A lot of mobile games have a similar kind of touch scrolling for their level select menus.. it's not perfect, but can be tweaked to your needs and smoothed out easily. I'm without a phone for another week (sending my THIRD Galaxy S4 back to Samsung for dodgey power issues!) so I can't test it on a device, but I'm 99% sure it will work well.

I might also refine this example in the future to make it more dynamic and user friendly, at first I was building it with my specific needs in mind only so it's kinda hacky. If anyone else wants to improve upon it/show me a better way, that'd be great too!

This is great. Did you ever do an updated example? Although it doesn't look like it needs it. Adding a link to it to my Android Users Guide that I'm building

Dave, is it possible to get the same effect as swiping and snapping with a button press?

I love the effect but I've decided I'd prefer to have the user click on a button which moves the camera to set coordinates instead of them having to drag it with their finger. How do I make this happen?
