    Rotate 2 objects to different angles but take the same time?

    Hi, simply one for a math guru , I have two objects and I want them to rotate to different angles but always take the same time?

    So for instance one might have to rotate to 340 degrees and the other to 170 degrees, but i want them to both finish at the same time, so the one that goes to 340 needs to go faster.

    Any one know a calculation for this?

    Thanks
    Andy

    Or a better solution (if any knows how) would be:- To be able to rotate objects to a certain angle over N seconds.

    Thanks

    You would need to break down the amount of angle to rotate ever X duration. For example, let's say you wanted to rotate 90degress in 5 seconds. To make the rotation smooth you would want to implement a rotation shift say every 0.02 of a second. That's 50 rotation shifts a second. You want to cover 5 seconds to that's 50x5=250 rotation shifts, one made every 0.02 seconds, over 5 seconds. To work out what your rotation shift angle is you divide your rotation angle by 250, so that would be 90/250=0.36degrees per rotation shift.

    In the Event Editor you set up this code:

    Group - Setup Rotation.
    Always
    >Set RotationShiftCounter to 0.
    >Close Group - Setup Rotation.

    Group - Make Rotation.
    Every 0.02seconds.
    >Rotate MyObject 0.36degrees.
    >Add 1 to RotationShiftCounter.

    RotationShiftCounter=250
    >Close Group - Make Rotation.
