Draw object in frame editor and EDIF

    Hi guys,
I'm developing an extension for iOS Exporter with the edif method.
Since I don't know c++, I use the compiled mfx which we can find on the forum.

My extension (and others I would like to develop in the future) needs to be drawn in the frame editor.
I mean, for the time being, we have only an icon in the frame editor, I need a drawn rectangle which is sizeable.

For the time being, the user has to pick an object (active) as reference, and the ui control (the extension is an implementation of an UITableView in obj-c) uses it in order to be displayed.

MY QUESTION IS, can we find the sources of the compiled mfx, if so I'll be able to implement the drawing method by looking source of similar drawn object?

    Hopefully I'm clear

The dummy MFX is literally just the EDIF template with no A/C/Es programmed in. You can make it or any variation of it yourself by using the EDIF SDK.
Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3

Oh great. I'll take a look right now, thanks LB.
By the way, do you know a solution to build extension directly from a mac, without using a virtual machine nor a windows partition ?
Is is possible to build directly from XCode ? or other IDE...?

You would have to look into cross compiling from mac/linux to windows. Cross compiling in general is a huge pain and for me is not worth the effort, I just use a virtual machine like VirtualBox because it's so much easier.

I'm finally testing with Visual C++ 2008 under wine.
It's doing the job for the moment.

I'm encountering some problems though, but it should be another question...
    Thanks for your answers LB.

OK I succeed to make the object sizeable in frame editor.
My mfx is working correctly now.

I have an issue though - On the objective-C side :
I get height and width of object with ho->hoImgWidth/hoImgHeight=[file readAInt]; in createRunObject but I have a strange issue. For example, ho->hoImgWidth returns 14942528 for a 320px frame editor's object (hoX and hoY returns well though) !! This is crazy !
Is there something wrong with EDIF (your github version, LB) and hoImgWidth/Height values or do I have something to change on the C++ side ????

I just can't work more on my extension because of that !
Hopefully someone will be able to help me in the next few hours ...

I don't know much about Objective-C, but I think the width and height from the frame editor are 16-bit - could that be the issue?

Mm don't think so since when I try to log hoImgWidth or Height in button or list objective-c extension, the values are correct.
I was wondering if I have to change something in the c++ code. For time being, I have only implemented the drawing of rectangle in frame editor, and the ability to resize it withkn the frame editor....
Not enough knowledge for c++ part.
