Question How do I Use pathfinding object

I recently installed the extension packs, as I needed the pathfinding object, but the problem is, I don't know how to use it.

The "Advanced Pathfinding Object" or the regular "Pathfinding Object?"

First off, welcome to the forums!

Second off, this thread is from months ago, and it's usually better to create a new thread than to bump an old one from my understanding.

Third off, quite frankly, there is no longer much reason to use the pathfinding object anymore, since, for starters, the pathfinding object is no longer getting updated, and it actually has some bugs if I remember correctly, and it's overly hard to use, and people have figured out at least one way (I think they've found more than one way) to pathfind without it, and said way/ways actually work really well, and, even if it means losing a touch of accuracy, it's cross-platform, which is almost certainly worth the slight loss in accuracy, and it's also easily updated unlike the pathfinding object, meaning technically someone could make a more accurate version of it anyways.

Here's a link to the (really awesome) example I'm referring to that demonstrates a way to pathfind without the pathfinding object: http://community.clickteam.com/threads/91019-Tower-Defence-Kit-ALL-PLATFORMS

Also note that it actually has pretty good performance, which I believe actually wasn't quite as good in the pathfinding object version of that exact same example, and it's also quite flexible since it's done entirely with MMF2/CF2.5-specific objects.

Too long, didn't read: I recommend you use the pathfinding technique from this example instead of the pathfinding object: http://community.clickteam.com/threads/91019-Tower-Defence-Kit-ALL-PLATFORMS
