    Question LACEWING that works?

    Hello everyone!
Iīm looking for LACEWING project file and a server that works.

    I found this one: http://community.clickteam.com/threads/58247-Lacewing-Video-Tutorials
and the tutorial is over all good.

My problem is, itīs not working.
I changed the server to an online one that I found here: http://dark-wire.com/relay/
now the chat example from the tutorial connects, but still doesn't work.

So, my question now is. Is there anyone that has a "WORKING" example with the LACEWING extension that would like to share some with the rest of us?
That would make my day for the rest of the year

A dream would be to find information on how to setup a server on my own domain as well.

If you post the mfa it would be easier to know what's wrong with the chat app you made.
For making your own server, check out the "Lacewing Relay Server" extension

You can just create your own server in CF2.5 and by doing that you have full control of what you want to do between client and server.

Actually, I could also use some help with this. If someone could just make the most basic functioning chat program possible and let me see the mfa, so I can tell if my lacewing is even working. I can't get anything to happen, so I don't even know if the extension is functioning correctly or not.

    re LACEWING that works.

I did not make my own app yet. The one provided in the linked tutorial is not working. I will add it to the post as soon as I get home.

    re LACEWING that works?

I believe the extension works if you connect it with a server that works.
I don't know anything about servers my self, so it's hard to solve this for me..

SInce the provided example was made there have been several updates to Lacewing that reset the properties and removed certain A/C/Es from the extension. You will need to repair the example as it is broken to to changes in newer versions of the extension. The extension works fine, the example does not.

Here i have made example on how to make a simple chat application.
However, I couldn't manage to list channels on the server. It seems like there is a bug in the current version of lacewing that will not let you loop through channels. If this is needed, you might want to see if you can find a earlier version of lacewing.

The channel listing does not work because you never request a channel list from the server, so your local channel list is always empty.

What do you mean? Do I need to request a list and then loop?
I've tried "Request list" and the condition: "on list received" without success.
