    Control X Object Possible?

I was wondering if the Control X object might ever be made available as an Android extension for the ability to simulate key strokes?

There are no current plans to do this, although if you PM Fvivilo who maintains our Android exporter he may have some ideas which could help you with this

Oh there is something available in the latest nightly build from august 01 inside android plus object, "emulate key".

you have now the ability to send key to the runtime, keycodes of course that also make sense to the device, but you can emulate pressing "A" for instance nd o something in your development.

I think it's the Inject Key under Devices in the menu for Android+ object but I'm not sure what the key codes are for each letter. Maybe someone can help us with this.
I wanted to emulate the left, right, up and down arrows and I've used the Android+ object to do just this by using the Joysticks/Emulate Joysticks option in the menu. You need to add a Start/Stop Joysticks option to the start of the frame with 1 for On and 1 for Auto-release. I have graphic arrows on screen and found the most effective action to use was 'Mouse pointer is over arrow up' together with 'Repeat while left mouse key is pressed', then select 'Emulate joystick player 1 with value 1' . Repeat for the other arrows using the values shown eg. 1 = up, 8 = right, 4 = left and 2 = down.
I have tried the Joystick option under the Android section in the frame properties but I've found this method to be a little more precise and gives the user much more control I feel.

Excuse me! My AndroidPlus module doesn't work. Here my program (in an attachment): the hero has to go always to the right. It works for you?

I added a line 'When Active is in the play area' then emulate joystick player 1 with value 8 and remove the emulate joystick from the event line above it i.e. you just need for the Active to 'bounce' in that event. It won't move along because the event isn't true. The bounce just keeps it floating on the background not touching it. You also have to build the apk for the 'emulate' to work. Hope that helps.
