Lob an object toward the mouse

I've been trying to get this to work for a while with no success. I'm trying to make a platformer game in which the character fires (throws) objects at the mouse, but the objects still have gravity and will eventually arc and drop back to the ground. I'm trying to accomplish something like firing arrows in Terraria. Any thoughts?

That's nearly what I'm looking for, but unfortunately there isn't any gravity pulling the launched object toward the bottom of the frame. That's what I need is to launch an object at the mouse and once it's launched it uses physics to arc down.

This tutorial involves throwing grenades (with gravity and launch power systems in place), so it may help you: http://www.clickteam.com/creation_materials/tutorials/download/GlobWarsTutorial.zip

It is also a really good tutorial, so you may want to read it.

AHA! This glob wars tutorial gave me exactly what I needed! I used the grenade as the object I wanted my character to throw (set to pinball movement) and then set a target to have the position of the mouse. So when the mouse button was clicked, a grenade object was created at the character. Then I set the speed to 100 and set the direction to the target where the mouse would be. Now my character throws the grenade object at the mouse and then eventually will fall due to the pinball movement's gravity. Thanks so much for the suggestion happygreenfrog!
