I'm after a bit of help/advice as to whether this is even possible. . .
I have a piece of software called V-Log which runs under Windows. It is a Visitor Management application which tracks visitors to a building. This all works great on Windows machines.
I had the idea that what if I wrote a small app (for the iPad) that would allow people to enter their details when they first entered the building. The data would then just be stored in a file on the iPad.
At the end of the day the iPad would then be plugged into a Windows machine running V-Log and it would sync with the iPad and take the data that had been entered on that day and then insert it into the current database.
What I need to know is if the data is stored within the app how do I get it exported out of the app and into a folder location that my Windows application can read it?
Any help/ideas would be appreciated.
