2 Button Control / Using parts of the screen instead of buttons

    Hey guys,

I've tried to make a 2 button game. left button is jumping, right button is shooting. The buttons are active objects. When i used the multiple touch (new touch on an object), I only can push one button at the same time. Is it possible to push both buttons at the same time? do I have to use another control? Is it possible to use no buttons? like: the first action is activated if i touch on the left side of the screen, the second action is activated if i touch on the right part of the screen. if i touch both sides (2 fingers) both actions are activated. If there is a sidescroller i cant define the x and y coordinates (like user clicks within a zone)

    Thanks for help

If you have fusion developer you can use android plus object to emulate a joystick.

Have you searched the forum? this has been answered so many times..

Attached an easy example, touching left side of screen moves left, touching right side moves right. You can easily change this to do whatever you like (eg. touch left side to jump, touch right side to shoot). If you want to use the built in movements you can use the Android Plus extension to simulate the joystick presses as FVivolo said.
