    BOSS movement pattern - Help

    Hello, I am having an issue with a boss I am creating.

    I have a time counter that sets to 60 and subtracks 20 every second. When the counter is zero he swings and the attack counter get +1 and the time counter goes back to 60.

    When the counter is 3 the boss goes into defensive mode and the attack counter is reset.

    The idea is that the boss swings 3 times and then goes defensive.

    This all works. The issue is movement.

    I want to make him move back when the time counter hits 60 and forward (same space) when the time counter hits 20. He should go back and forth as if he is coming in for the attack.

    However he doesnt! instead of going forward 2 and back 2, he always goes forward 2.5 and back 2. If I leave him alone he will go right off the screen!

    One thing i use more than anything especially for bosses is "x out of y times at random" under special conditions and deactivating/activation of groups. The random stuff really is great because there is VERY little possibility that you will face the boss the same way more than once.

    While that is a great idea for randomness, it doesn't solve my movement problem, as even randomly my boss will walk off the screen or corner the player.

    I need help with a series of events that would move him back and forth, or at least allow him to return to his original position.

    Hmm, I added two events. Look at line 23 and 32, but not sure if this is what you're looking for? Not sure if this helps at all, but seems to be working.
