Fusion 2.5 How To Move Entire Projects From Folder To Folder?

Hello, I'm trying to move my game project from folder to folder. But, when opening the project I get "file missing from last location, please provide new..." I do that for every file, but everything gets messed up and basically it doesn't fully work.

My question is, how do I move the project?

Can the .mfw file itself contain all of the files needed? I know there are DATA ELEMENTS(in which I sourced all of my files. http://puu.sh/bOv4v/cf5d073a22.png), but I'm not entirely too sure on how they work. Anyone know?

    Thanks.

The external files are not stored in the MFA or MFW files. The MFA file contains links to these files. When you move a MFA file and load it, CF will try to find them in the new folder (or sub-folders of this folder if they were in subfolders). If it cannot find them, it will try the previous pathname. If it can't find the file in any of these folders it will display the file missing dialog.

So if you want to be able to move a project to another folder without this kind of problem, you should store all the external files in sub-folders of the folder that contains the MFA file.

Sorry, got a bit confused, didn't use the program in 6 months and forgot about the object types.

The files were in the same folder.(Active picture.) But, I still needed to provide the full path to the new folder. That makes sense, since the old path had nothing in it.

Actives with pictures imported into them work flawlessly, I can even delete the image file on my drive and it will still work. The files imported as pictures for actives are stored where? Within?

One last thing. Binary data only comes into play with external files, and serves no purpose until you compile, correct?

Sorry for the questions. Thanks for replying

The images of active objects are stored in the image bank in the MFA file.

Binary data are included in the app when you build it, correct.
