Question Darken or lighten Active Object

    Hi Folks!

I'm searching for a way to darken or lighten up some character objects.

I want to click on a figure, move it and then deactivate it. To signal that it was already moved (and can't move again in this turn) i want to darken the figure down a bit.
The same way i want to lighten up the active figure, so that the player can see, which of his figures he is actualy using.

I don't want to build a light, normal and dark animation for every figure - I am trying to get the final result with an effect.
But i can't handle it without getting a transparency effect additionally.

Can somebody help me out, please?
Only need the right effect and the settings necessary for it.

Its under effects, use the shaders from the shader packs found on this site.

There are photoshop like shaders that can darken and lit your object.

    Thanks for help.
I tried the photoshop shaders and looki's shaders pack 2.0, but every shader includes a recalculation with the backdrop.
What i am searching for is a shader, which only affects the sprite itself without including the environment beneath it (like the monochrome effect).

Have you tried Brightness + Saturation?

Use 1.5 and -0.5 and it should darken only the sprite.
