    Hi there,

    I am adding achievements to my game and I am struggling with one of them:

    "defeat one of every type of enemy"

    Now, there are over 50 different types of enemies in this game. Does anyone know what to do here?

    Any help is much appreciated

    Add a counter.
    Add one to counter every time a different enemy is hacked to death.

    Counter = 50
    +Only one action when event loops
    - - > Get achievement

    Thanks for the reply, Marv!

    How can I prevent the counter from adding more than just 1 when defeating several enemies of the same type?

    There are 400+ enemies in the game, but only 50 of them are unique.

    I think you'll need to use an array. MonsterType(1) = 1 if type 1 is defeated. MonsterType(2) = 1 if type 2 is defeated.

    As suggested. You could use an array. If you store each kill count of every enemy type in array then loop through the array to test each entry for different to 0. This way you could use the array if you ever want to add an achievement for killing x amount of a particular enemy type.

    Thanks Tuna and danworth!

    I will definitely use an array then
    Will it be cpu heavy for an ios or android device to run a loop through the array like that?

    You would have to test it. I can't see it causing an issue. Have it run the loop on killing an enemy. If that affects performance when killing many enemies at 1 time you could try creating a loop that runs every x seconds instead.
