    Generating keyhashes is complicated, but possible. I managed to do it without getting an error using the Command Prompt.

    Where I gave up, was getting the publish_actions permission from Facebook required to have users post links and messages. Since a recent policy update, it is no longer allowed to have an app write a custom message (even if the user can edit it afterwards). That was the first reason my submission got rejected.

    It was fine though, because you are allowed to customize links, descriptions and captions so I'll just use that.

    However this was my second rejection (where I just gave up until an update on the extension):

    Your app cannot embed the Facebook Login dialog inside a custom web view. Utilize our native Facebook Login SDK, so that users do not need to login twice.

    So this is as far as I got with all this.

    New version 2 is using the latest sdk 21, so no more issues but they should allow you to use until april according their regulations.

    are you using the latest beta version 284n?

    I'm using the 283.5 Steam build. I'll re-install the extension as soon as it is available to me and post an update after my submission is either denied or (hopefully) accepted.

    Thanks for working on it by the way. I had kind of just abandoned the project for which I needed this function.

    In case anyone is reading this forum and wants an update on my previous post.

    Well I've sorted the issue getting the hash key, turned out that I was getting the hash from my x86 (32bit) version of JAVA and not the x64 (64bit). Once I changed this and re-ran I received a new hash key, loaded into Facebook developer site and all is working. I've successfully posted a message and inserted a picture loaded from the web.

    One additional setting I used within Fusions was to uncheck 'End application when not in foreground'

    If you can confirm for me that the messaging system also works when you're logged in as any Facebook user other than the developer, I'm probably going to make several sounds of joy.

    I downloaded the new version of facebook X v2 and I uploaded android sdk api level 10, and as Fernando said, after that the fusion became generate an error when creating the APK

    what extension are you using in this application?

    android-support-lib should be the same in all object

    like

    admob
    gmaps
    facebook

    are you using any extra extension?

    Maybe it's me, but I see API 19 and API 20.

    oh yes is not good to be so back when using new tools

    but this error is when is not used the same android-support-lib.

    for developers:

    the runtime need the same android-support-lib for all objects and runtime, this also apply to goggle play services version


    so please use the google play version from admob and support-lib from runtime.
