    Bouncing control

Hello, i need to control the Bouncing movment of an object.
The base object is duvided in three parts, left, center and right. I want the ball to take diferent directions when hits the base. If the ball hits the left part of the base, the ball Should go up and assume left directions. If the ball hits the central part of the object, than the ball should go up and assume central directions. If the ball hits the right part of the object than the ball shoul go up and assume right directions.
The object where the ball hits its a single object controled by the player.
Is this possible to control ?

Just some quick thinking, you could just use the X differences between your ball and the base.

Lets say you have a base object that is 300 in width. If you take X("Ball") - X("Base") you will see where the ball hits the base. Add this in your overlap event, obviously. The result you get should now be somewhere between 0 to 300, or -150 to 150 depending on your hotspot. Use this number to define a middle area of where the ball will just move up, and then define the edge parts of which you can set the direction to the left/right. The directions also have some numeric values, so you can play with the differences of where the ball hits and set the direction more towards right/left depending how far from the middle it hits ... If this makes any sense.. :p
