    Having some problems recreating a follow the leader type setup for an enemy

    Im trying to recreate the movement seen in castlevania games with the "peeping eye" monster, where they eye rests on a surface, wakes up then flies around with a tail slowly following after that. I've managed to get the flight to work perfectly using vector movement + the CMC object, but im having a hard time making the tail fragments follow around as well. The first segment works perfectly, but the second segment is where i run in to trouble. Is there a way to create say 6-8 more pieces that follow from the bottom of the y coordinate of each additional piece that is created?

    Check the top example on this page. These are all really old examples but it should suit your needs.

    Thanks UltimateWalrus! I've actually had your example for a few years lol. I was able to figure it out though last night using the new physics engines. I set the main segment piece of the tail to the base of the object using the axial movement, attaching the other pieces to the YBottom of each additional piece to stick them together, then having the pieces torque adjust to the speed of the clickteam movement controller of the enemy, but divided it by 2 every segment, gave it a nice wind type resistance and eventually goes in and out of a snake tail coil like movement. Turned out pretty gnarly lol.
