Time event not working?

I am using the timer event

+ Counter1 Add 10
+ Start event "test 1" ....... 2 seconds ( can't think for the exact name atm)
+ End Application

"test 1"
+ .......

When It starts, I see doing it's thing the on event section, and it ends the program right away.
isn't It suppose to have a 2 second delay AFTER it's done with the event ?

Are you resetting the timer when you start your event? I'm guessing the problem is that 2 seconds have already passed on the timer when your event starts, thus ending the application immediately. Remember, the timer is always running.
