Sorry, Short Answer is No, there is a hacky method but does not works in all devices, that why was not included.

Do you know how Whatsapp and Viber manage to do it?
I was just about to make a post about this myself. While the height is not what I am looking for. The X position of the top of the Keyboard would be extremely useful. I'd hate to have to make an entire Keyboard in every app just to get a position from the stock Android Keyboard. Thanks in advance for any suggestions
Not sure if I understand but the X should be always 0, you are asking Y?

KCEDIT that is.
Also, how did you get the " POP DOWN " box to be directly above the keyboard? Thanks
This is basically what I was trying to do so that regardless where edit boxes where on the screen. When the user selects Input focus on an edit box. The Android Keyboard would come out and the Edit Box plus a active backdrop would dock with the keyboard. Then when the Keyboard is hidden. The Edit Box and Active would dock with the app where the developer wanted it to be displayed.
