Hi, I was looking for some safer ways to save my game data on INI files and I noticed the android object provides us some information about the device running the app. I thought about using this information to secure some game data using the string parser MD5 filter. I don't need to read back the original string, just check if the saved value is valid for the current device - and I thought about creating some keys using tha saved valued together with these unique device info for validation in order to avoid the copy of a game progression ini file from a device to another.
This will work only if the android object data is really unique. Can I count on that? I was thinking about using "all devices: unique id" and/or "device info: user google account" for this validation.
For an OUYA port, I believe I can use the "extras..: user name" from the OUYA object.
Will this do the trick?
