    make a character automatically jump on bumper

    Hello ! I make a platformer and like in sonic i'd like to add some bumper that make my hero bounce. But ther's no event that can't make automatically jump. I use the physic platformer movement (for the double jump implemented).

    Have you an idea for me ? Thanks you all !

    in construct, there's a simple action called "simulate plateform action-jump" that do what i want in clickteam. SO there is no equivalent ?

    Okay, you may be trolling, but here's a solution...
    Create active object nd apply whatever conditions you want (visible or invisible etc).
    Put the following events in it's behaviour...
    1. When player collides with Jumpbox = Make character jump (either by switching to the animation or simulating the jump key.

    If you wanna get a bit more technical:

    Upon collision: Set player speed to (a higher speed) > apply whatever your jump action is here.

    That should accomplish.

    Other than that, the physics platform object could handle being bounced about and you can control the gravity etc, thus giving more than the player the ability to use the effect.

    Dunno if this helps but hey it's a start.
