I recently downloaded the Andy Android simulator for PC: http://www.andyroid.net/
I now play most of my Android games on this since it is really nice to play on a fullscreen monitor. I have downloaded about 100+ games from the store and they all run perfect.
But then I tried some of my Fusion made games and the performance is really terrible. And I mean worse then terrible. The most strange thing though after some extensive testing was that MMF built android apps ran very well on the platform.
I even tried my most successful game Loot Hero and built the exact same mfa in both MMF and Fusion and then ran it to test. The results where quite chocking. I recorded the results from the test:
Here is Loot Hero main menu MMF build, as you can see the fps is quite stable 30fps:
Here is the same build with Fusion, as you can see the fps is now in the low 20, also the bug I have reported is there so the main character is not even moving: (bugbox: http://bugbox.clickteam.com/issues/2635 )
Now the next test was on my Intro screen and that is where the difference really get out of hand.
Here is the game running with the MMF build, in the high 25-30fps:
Here is the same build with Fusion, fps is down at around 3fps..
Why is this? I have no clue. It is the exact same game and mfa used in both. I will say that the difference does not seem that big in all other game screens though, and if I test on my tablet there does not seem to be any noticable difference between the builds (aparts from Fusion having broken animation)
