    Thanks

    Thank you everyone!

What do you think about my hero? Just quickly colored, I need to add some details, but just to have an idea.

For enemy movement for a fight? Enemies that move and go against the hero.

Are you looking for tturn based battles or overworld fights? I wouldn't recommend tile-based movement for battles...

As far as animating the battle scenes goes, you don't really need anything else but Fusion 2.5's factory controls. Each enemy have 100 flags, 25 variables and strings. So go to work and define what flags will be used to do what. A simple database in Access, Excel, or mySQL can do that bit for you quite easily. What you need to do is to determine what each flag stands for, and what it's used for.

Then you have that file as a basis from which you develop your enemies. In this file you should also list the different parameters for the enemies.

Say for instance you got monsters spewing up acid drenched skeletons. The parental monsters has flag 1 set to always hungry. And flag 2 set to canibalistic. The two monsters appears on screen. While the first pukes out a few skeletons to protect him self, the 2nd monster sees them, and snatches a few of these skeletons to boost it's powers...

All you would need to do is to check all flags and variables for all enemies and players alike, and follow the rules you defined.

So by using flags and variables you can create quite a lot of WTF moments in your game that can bring lots of laughters. Now I'm just giving you this idea how to work out the battle scenes. You may use this in your games if you give credit to me.

Good idea to use flags that way, but I wouldn't use flags. I'd say using a saved list file or just one line and using a string parser (for single line) or find-string-exact (for list) to show what tags the enemy has. Flags can't be renamed and can only have two states that are set during run-time meaning they're not the best for data storage...

I don't have anything like that, but I'd gladly make a video tutorial series if you'd like
    I can cover:
    Tile-based movement
    Tile-based map creation
    Random battle encounter chance
    Custom enemies
    Turn-based battle system
    Level-up/Skill-points system

Yes I'm up for that idea. I'm making a turn-based RPG and would love as much tutelage as possible
