String object anti-aliasing seems to work in reverse

    Hi There

It seems to me that enabling 'anti-aliasing' in the properties of a string object make the text cpletely un-aliased.

Are there some settings i'm missing?

    Cheers

This option is badly named, we should have renamed when we've implemented the D3D modes, as it works differently in standard and D3D modes.

If this option is unselected, the program uses the Windows anti-aliasing option as selected by the user in their desktop settings (Smooth texts).

    If this option is selected:

    - in standard mode it ignores the Windows anti-aliasing and uses an internal anti-aliasing.
    - in D3D mode it ignores the Windows anti-aliasing, but doesn't replace it by anything else.

    Thanks for the tip, Yves.

I as user would like to note it in the Fusion Wiki if there was one.
That's this kind of information you'll find on Wikis.
