Can't use Activate/Deactivate Group of Events Action

    Hi guys.

Very basic question here. Apologies if this is asked frequently, I tried searching the forums but couldn't find a thread similar to the problem I was having. I just purchased Fusion 2.5 and have begun following the basic tutorials found on the website. I'm currently in the middle of the Space Corsair tutorial by Koobare and I've run into a bit of a snag. I've made a series of Event Groups and I'm trying now to use the Activate/Deactivate group Action under the Special Conditions category, but both 'Activate' and 'Deactivate' are grey and unable to be selected. I thought perhaps I set something up wrong in my project, so I opened up Koobare's pre-built example of Space Corsair but I'm running into the same problem. I can edit previously made group activation actions, but I cannot create new ones. Both options are still unavailable.

Is there a particular reason this is happening to me?

This is very odd indeed. Have you tried updating to the latest beta version?

Which editor are you trying to set these actions from? I seem to recall it's not possible from certain screens, for example if you double click an event numner to enter the actions editor.

    Simon --

I was double-clicking an event number to enter the actions editor. I just right-clicked the action set instead and now I can use the two functions. Good to know. Thanks for the help!

You can't select them in the action editor, they are greyed out there for some bizarre reason. You have to be in the event editor to do it, right click on any event in the special conditions (cog wheels) column and on the menu under the "Group of events" you can access it from there. I just encountered this issue yesterday myself, so the fix is still fresh in my mind lol
    =)
