Unable to Truly Destroy String Objects

Simple experiment. Made a new file and put a string object in the frame, then made an event "upon right click, destroy string." The string is destroyed in the frame, but the objects counter still reads "1." It seems that, at most, it's just making the string invisible only.

I think this is an old bug so you can still use a destroyed string for calculations. The "count" of the instances of a string should not be used for a condition, as they essentially cannot be destroyed, only hidden.
