re-installing Fusion on a new machine

    Hi There

I have the CD version of Multimedia Fusion 2 Developer and want to install it on a new machine. If my memory serves me correctyl, it doesn't have in the built in upgrade system (could be wrong)

My question is: Can I install from the orginal disc and then run the newest update?

    Cheers
    Z

I think that it has an auto-upgrade system but I can't remember if it still works or not If you download the update for MMF2 specifically rather than MMF2.5, you should be able to apply it manually.

Thanks for your reply DavidN. Is there somewhere on the Clickteam website/forum where I can download the updates? I purchased the upgrade from 2 to 2.5 but can find anywhere to download previously purchased products.

I am doing the same thing and just talked to Jeff about this. Look in the Community Passport System.

If Windows or a firewall blocks the update feature you can get the latest update in the community passport as Marv said.

If you want Fusion 2.5 on this new computer you don't need to install Multimedia Fusion 2.0 first.
When you bought the upgrade you actually bought a whole a new installer at a discount.
So you can simply just run the Fusion 2.5 installer and then update that to the latest build.

If you lost your serial number the easiest place to get that is to go visit the store again and look for the "My Account" link.
This will let you back in so you can get the serial number.

If you have any problems or don't have an account on the store then you can always email us.

    Thanks
    Jeff

Thanks Jeff. I'm guessing I can still use the code that I have for MF2? I tried logging into the store today andit doesn't recognise my email addres even thought I've purchased various thing over the years.

It will be a week or so before I get around to re-installing, but will get back to you if I struggle.

    Thanks again guys

Old purchases are not in the current Fusion 2.5 store.
Only purchases since the release of Fusion 2.5 are in there.

If you need some info from those you would have to email me so I can track them down.

You can't use your MMF2 code to install Fusion 2.5

You can get all your old products from the passport system on the forums.
Just register your serial numbers to your account.

    Hi Jeff
Thanks for help previous. I've only just got around to installing on a new machine after my old one died. I purchased the HTML5 plugin a year or so back but it's not showing up in community Passport. what can I do to get it in there without having the details?
    Cheers
