In case it might make things easier for you concept game, please note that Spriter can export to two diferent formats.. the one you currently support is xml... we call it scml... the second format it can export to is in fact JSON... we call it scon.

    cheers,
    Mike at BrashMonkey

One question about this extension and Spriter : in MMF, what do you have ? a puppet, with a sprite sheet, which play animation file made with Spriter or you have to make animation with the png, export by Spriter ? Thanks for your explanation

Just png export is already in MMF with the Active Object. So it is the first option.

We can consider that it is like Unity in term of advanced procedural animation and related features. The animation editor is Spriter and in runtime MMF is assembling and rendering the animation in real time.

    Nice extension conceptgame!
I have request. Can you support load files from the binary data?
I want to include the image files into the application and hide them.

    Hi ASD,

I implemented something in this direction yesterday: you have now the possibilty to load sprites from another active (all frames from a given animation and direction).
Regarding your question, I have planned to add a "Set global relative path" action. It will allow you to change path of all sprites. Since it should be compatible with the way binary files are included/extracted in CF2.5, it should do the job.
I have not tested it yet since I prefer the "Load from an Active Object" way.

The other fetures planned are the following:
    1) Retrieve the animation name of the current animation playing.
    2) Retrieve the NUMBER of the current animation playing.
    3) Start an animation based on its number and not on its name.
    4) Retrieve the current time of the currently playing animation.
    5) Retrieve the current time ratio of the currently playing animation.
    6) Load a spriter file at runtime
    7) Handle opacity for each sprites
    8) Handle boxes from Spriter (collision rectangles)
    9) Handle points from Spriter (multiple action points)
    10) Handle animation blending and blending groups (the most challenging one but the most promising on my side)
    11) Fix a probable memory leak

would it be possible to do a HTML5 implementation? That way games using the spriter object would also be portable to MAC and LINUX as well as run on windows
