    2d fighting games codes

Hello I would like to know if you have a pre made game like Golden Axe (2d scrolling fighting)

or 2d beat em up like Street Fighter.

So that I can study the MMF code.

    Thanks

What you're asking would equate to rather advanced knowledge of Fusion - to create a versus 2D fighting game, at least a modern style fighting game, you would need to create a system that uses hitboxes and hurt boxes and the engine will have to be very precise with frames, active frames, recovery frames etc.

Blocking is just one part of it. If you have a basic understanding of Fusion right now, you should increase your knowledge first.

Of course we are making a 2D fighting game, so everything is complete, so just the guards that don't give them the image are not yet available.
There are no character guards in that Chaos Fighter.

Are you asking for how to do guarding? A simple way would be to have a flag that's triggered when a guard button is pressed. When an attack is landed on the enemy check if the guard flag is on, if not do damage.

    Block button is pressed
--->Enemy Flag 0 set to On

    Attack overlaps Enemy
    +Flag 0 is off
    --->do damage

Is it? You can use the character's (← button) back button to make it a guard while leaving the enemy.

Street Fighter and blazblue and Guilty Gear the same way
    It is a guard.

Since you used SFV as an example, I'll try to explain the system you would need to work on to get something like this to work. Fighting games are highly involved and I doubt you will find someone with a completed engine for you to dissect.

-you need 1 value to determine the side of your character the opponent is on that we will call OppSide. This is 1 if X position of opponent >= your X position and -1 if X position of opponent < your X position.
-you need 2 values to actually control your player movement: X input and Y input. These values are either 0 (neutral), 1 (positive) or -1 (negative). For X, 1 is holding RIGHT and -1 is holding LEFT. For Y, 1 is holding DOWN and -1 is holding UP. You can test combinations of the values to determine your states like the typical down+back crouch block, neutral jumping vs forward or back jumping etc.

Once you have these working, you can say the player will block all JUMPING and OVERHEAD attacks if: X input = 0 - OppSide and Y input = 0. This means that the player is holding OPPOSITE the side the opponent is on and is standing and not crouching.

The player will block all MEDIUM attacks if: X input = 0 - OppSide and Y input > -1. Player is stand blocking or crouch blocking.

The player will block all LOW attacks if: X input = 0 - OppSide and Y input = 1. Player is crouch blocking.

Once you understand how this works it should set you down the right path of implementing it, depending on how you handle your engine.

Thank you for telling me. I'm going to make it, but this clickteam
may be a bit more difficult because it's Japanese? I hope you send
me an image of how to make an MFA file.
